Οι σταγόνες των παιδιών
απέναντι στις φωτογραφίες
και την σωρό των παπουτσιών
έδειχναν ότι η βαρβαρότητα
δεν έχει καμιά δικαιολογία
όταν φτάνει στο σημείο
να καταστρέφει, να τεμαχίζει
τις χούφτες ζωής της αθωότητας
δίχως κανένα ίχνος ελέους
επειδή δεν ήθελε να υπάρχουν
ούτε στο μέλλον τα θύματα
κι όχι μόνο στο παρόν
και κάθε βλέμμα σε κοιτάζει
λες και ήθελε να καταλάβει
γιατί δεν μπόρεσε να ζήσει
δίχως να γίνει θύμα
εγκλήματος κατά της Ανθρωπότητας.

has no excuse
when it reaches the point
of destroying, of cleaving
the handfuls of innocent life
without a hint of mercy
because they did not want it to exist
without in the future the victims
and not only in the present
and every look is watching you
as if it wanted to understand
why it could not live
without becoming a victim
of a crime against Humanity.
