Ακούγοντας το ντουντούκ
είναι αδύνατο να μην σκεφτείς
την ιστορία των Αρμενίων
και το παρελθόν
που διέσχισαν
για να δείξουν
σε όλους μας
ότι η ανθρωπιά
μπορεί να νικήσει
ακόμα και τη γενοκτονία
γιατί πεθαίνει
πάντα όρθια
και δίνει το παράδειγμα
στους λαούς που υποφέρουν
και δεν σκύβουν το κεφάλι
όταν έρχεται ο βάρβαρος
να εξοντώσει
τους πάντες
για να κερδίσει
ένα έδαφος
δίχως να το αγαπά
απλώς λόγω εξουσίας.
