Γιατί περιμένεις ακόμα
για ν’ αναγνωρίσεις επιτέλους
τη γενοκτονία των Ασσυρίων
μήπως επειδή οι ψηφοφόροι
δεν είναι αρκετοί για σένα,
μήπως επειδή δεν έζησαν
την ίδια μοίρα με σένα,
αν έχεις όμως συνείδηση
θα πρέπει γρήγορα
να πεις και το δικό σου ναι
στην ψηφοφορία της Βουλής
όταν η Ελλάδα θα κάνει
το δικό της καθήκον
απέναντι στην ιστορία
και την ανθρωπότητα.

to finally recognize
the genocide of the Assyrians
is it because voters
are not enough for you,
is it because they have not shared
the same fate with you,
but, if you are conscious
you should swiftly
say your own yes
during the voting of the Parliament
when Greece will do
her own duty
towards history
and humanity.
